Maybe you’ve noticed that even though you are smarter than average, reasonably self aware, and willing to own your own stuff, stuckness happens. Maybe a parent is dependent in new and unsettling ways. Maybe you’ve succeeded at most of what you set out to do 20 years ago, and though you feel a bit sheepish, you are bored with your perfect life. Or maybe it’s just that time again, that time of murkiness and uncertainty that ushers in some yet unknown shift in awareness, some new way of making sense of things and connecting with joy and profound motivation.

This year I am devoting my private practice to the challenges and opportunities of mid life. I want to work with emotionally intelligent, savvy, even sophisticated men and women who have discovered that the lessons they’ve already learned still apply, except when they don’t. These “grown ups” are open to accelerated learning, and they’re more intrigued than terrified by the notion of coaching with the gloves off. In other words, they’re truth seekers who don’t believe in easy answers and are tired of being jaded.

If you are being called (again!), if you’re hungry for engagement, and if you’re willing to spend a few hours a month outside of your comfort zone, I want to hear from you.

Where am I coming from?
I will be coaching from the point of view of a fellow traveler. As such, I promise to be bold (can you imagine?), relying on you to run with what works and discard without sentiment what does not. I guarantee frequent hilarity. Much as you may impress me, I will not hesitate to gore your sacred cows. (Try not to get blood on the office floor, okay?)

I am hungry for full engagement with you and with the aspirations, values, and demons that make up the curriculum of your life this coming year. I expect to stand with you as you work on things that are sometimes outside my comprehension. My claim to competency is that I can sense opportunities and minefields and construct damn good maps even when I can only intuit the territory.

We can talk about what’s going on and whether group or private coaching might lend dignity to this time and perhaps ease the pangs of whatever it is that wants to come to life, not to mention the pangs of letting go of whatever is ready to pass away.

Individual coaching can begin as early as March 1. Coaching groups (limited to 5 participants) will form throughout the spring according to the demand. Both group and individual coaching take place by phone, and both processes are held in strictest confidentiality.

Rates for groups begin at $200 per month when you enroll for four or mote months. Individual coaching openings are available immediately; rates start at $450 per month, with a discount for prepayment of four or more months. All sessions can be recorded and made available as MP3s at your request.
